Luminous began as an idea for two separate branches — individual forms meant to stand apart, each rising from its own base. But as the shapes developed, it became clear they belonged together. Their lines spoke to one another, leaning, echoing, and balancing in a way that felt more natural as a pair.

The forms shifted toward a more tropical presence, their curves opening like leaves catching warm air. The stakes that were meant to anchor them quietly transformed into the base itself, grounding the piece while keeping the gesture light and lifted.

Toward the bottom, fine grasses gather and flare outward, creating a sense of rootedness — a place where movement begins. Below them, the blue lines flow upward like water, giving the sculpture the feeling of standing near a shoreline, where color, breeze, and motion meet.

Luminous holds the sense of two forms rising together — distinct yet connected — shaped by tropical warmth, flowing water, and the quiet balance of a shared foundation.

Description: Fine wires flare outward like petals deciding to open, catching the light in shifting tones of copper, ember, and moss. The piece holds the stillness of a plant just on the edge of becoming something new.
