I’m an emerging sculptor living in Sonoma County, shaped by deep roots throughout the Bay Area. For many years, my life moved through the structure and pace of a corporate career — work that was steady and demanding, but far from the creative impulses that had always lived quietly underneath. Over time, I felt a pull back toward making things with my hands, toward gesture, movement, and the natural world.
Sculpture became the doorway. What began as a personal exploration grew into a new chapter of my life — a shift from corporate structure into a more intuitive, expressive practice. Working with wire allows me to follow a line the way you might follow a thought: bending, lifting, twisting, listening for the moment when the form begins to feel alive.
Natural movement, shaped in wire for the home
Inspiration from the Natural World
I spent my childhood in Hawaii so much of my inspiration comes from the natural world. I’m drawn to the patterns and rhythms found in nature—both in its literal forms and in more abstract impressions. The curve of a branch, the movement of water, the way sunlight filters through leaves. By grounding my work in nature, I hope to create a sense of connection that resonates with viewers on an intuitive and emotional level.
I create sculptures for people who want unique, expressive art in their homes - pieces that feel alive, atmospheric, and deeply personal.
I begin by sketching into an idea — not a fixed image, but a sensation. I pay attention to what kind of form I’m drawn to in that moment. Sometimes it’s a quiet, linear gesture. Sometimes it wants twists, turns, or a lift that feels like wind moving through a branch. I follow the line until it starts to take shape and reveal itself.
