Swaying captures the gentle tension of palms moving in a shifting breeze. The upper branch leans one way, the lower branch answers in another, creating a soft counter‑motion that runs through the entire form. The sculpture balances itself inside that crossing of directions, leaving an intentional open space at the center for the votive — a calm held within the movement.

The base twists like a living trunk, held together by branches that seem to shift under their own weight. Reds and browns rise from the lower coils, carrying the warmth of the earth, while cooler tones gather near the open space, suggesting water settling beneath the motion above.
