Collector Description: Aglow in Motion is a one‑of‑a‑kind wire sculpture shaped slowly by hand, created as a private commission. The piece rises in a branching, upward motion, echoing the structure of wildflowers and young shoots reaching toward light. Each strand is individually wrapped, bent, and balanced, creating a composition that feels both delicate and assured.
The sculpture brings together a full spectrum of color — warm copper, red, and gold at the core, shifting into blues, greens, and violets along the outer branches. This gradient creates a sense of natural growth, as if the piece is gathering light and releasing it outward.
The form carries a duality:
Fragility in the thin, swaying lines
Resilience in the strong central structure that anchors the movement
From one angle, it reads as a blooming form; from another, a branching structure; from another, a burst of motion. Light interacts with the wire, creating shadows that extend the sculpture beyond its physical boundaries.
This piece was shaped through many hours of attentive work — bending, refining, and adjusting until the gesture felt alive. It is a sculpture meant to bring a sense of natural movement into the home, a quiet reminder of growth, renewal, and the beauty of organic forms.
